1. Objectives
Protecting your privacy is important to the British German Association. We hope the following policy will help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard the personal information you provide to us through our web site.
2. Information Collection
If you browse the British German Association web site, you do so anonymously. We do not collect personal information including your eMail address. At certain times, we log your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) to give us an idea of which parts of our web site you visit and how long you spend there. However, we do not link your IP address to anything personally identifiable. The only other information that can be automatically provided to us is the type of computer and operating system you are using. Your browser supplies us with this information.

At times we may request that you voluntarily supply us with personal information such as your eMail address and postal address for purposes such as corresponding with us, registering your interest in our company, making a purchase, entering for a promotional event, registering a new product, or participating in an online survey. When you register a product with British German Association, we also record the serial number with your name, address, and eMail address.
3. Information Use
If you provide us with your eMail or postal address, or have done so in the past, we will ask you if we can use it to send you updates on the latest British German Association products and promotions. Very occasionally, we may also ask if you would allow us to share your personal information with other companies that offer services that may be of interest to you. Whilst British German Association products or advertising campaigns and marketing materials can be viewed by children, we do not solicit data from them. The British German Association encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate in the interactive activities offered on the sites their children visit. No information should be submitted to, or posted at, the British German Association web site by visitors under 18 years of age without the consent of their parent or guardian.
