All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham, Surrey


All Hallows is an 11-18 mixed school and Sixth Form college situated on the borders of Surrey and Hampshire, midway between Farnham and Aldershot. This was our first 'Youthbridge School" taken on board in 2003

The name All Hallows refers to all the Saints, all those who have gone to be with God, and the superb sculpture above the main entrance was specially commissioned to reflect the school's name.

The school is twinned with the "Gymnasium Leonium Handrup" in Handrup.

The Bishop’s Stortford High School in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire


This school admits students aged 11-18 years, accepting only boys up to the age of 16 and admitting boys and girls into the sixth form. There are presently some 1100 pupils at the school, including in the order of 330 students in the sixth form of whom some 100 are girls.

Its core objective is to provide all students with the best educational experience, within a caring, safe and moral environment.

Congleton High School in Congleton, Cheshire


Congleton High School was established in 2000 as an 11-18 comprehensive school for 1100 pupils. By means of quality teaching, it enables pupils to fulfill their potential across a wide range of subjects and activities in a supportive environment.

Fernwood Comprehensive School in Nottingham

Fernwood is an 11-16 designated Technology College and Leading Edge School where German and French are thriving due to a talented team of MFL teachers and a Senior Management Team who support Languages teaching for every child.

All pupils learn German until the end of Year 9 and around 100 pupils choose to study German for GCSE each year. A new German exchange with Maulbronn is just beginning and also study visits to the Rhine area.

Fortismere School, North London

Fortismere is a popular mixed comprehensive community school in Muswell Hill in North London. There are 1500 pupils on roll with 400 in the Sixth Form. The school is a Technology College and housed on a campus with three main buildings. French, German and Spanish are taught.

Fortismere has an exchange with the Alexander-von-Humboldt Gymnasium in Bornheim (near Bonn) and is also involved in letter exchanges and other small scale projects.

Yewlands School, Sheffield

Yewlands is a technological learning centre which promotes learning as a life long experience. All students follow the National Curriculum enhanced in Technology, Information Technology, Science and Maths. The Modern Languages Department at Yewlands has changed a great deal over recent years.

The school teaches to a tight scheme of work with built-in assessments. Listening, Reading and Writing are tested formally at least once each term. Speaking is tested informally in lessons or frequently via peer pyramid testing, where one student tests others within the group.
