The BGA's programme includes a broad range of Seminars (in London & Berlin), Lectures and Social Events, all with a British-German theme. We believe that from our Annual Conference to the prestigious Nutcracker Ball we have events, large and small, to suit all tastes; but new ideas are always welcome.
The main two annual Lectures are: The Prince Friedrich of Prussia Lecture ('Britain at the heart of Europe') and The Sir Frank Roberts Lecture ('The expanding Europe; its relevance to both the British and the Germans.')
Our work in support of Youth is entering a new phase after 12 successful years of youth exchange. We have established an incentives scheme for pupils in British Schools to learn the German Language. Work continues on 'school twinning' and thus 'exchanges', to further friendship.
We stage various cultural events. Please see the events page.
Younger Members Group, which is led by a committee of active business professionals has been mandated to broaden the membership base and our range of activities. They are also part of the Editorial Committee of this web site.

Closer ties with both The Dresden Trust and The British-German Officers Association for long-term 'association' are under discussion.
We wish you all good networking and contact on this web site.
