Reflecting on German reunification 30 years on
Joint Zoom event between the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the British-German Association
Join Minister for European Neighbourhood and the Americas Wendy Morton MP, German Ambassador to the United Kingdom Andreas Michaelis, former Cabinet Minister Lord Waldegrave, and Senior Editor at The Economist Anne McElvoy at a virtual event organised jointly by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the British-German Association. We will take this opportunity to celebrate and reflect upon the momentous events of 1990, where the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic were reunited following the 2+4 talks in which the UK was an important partner.
The event is from 12.30pm in London (1.30pm in Berlin) on Tuesday 6th October and will last one hour.
